We all need a pop of colour this summer....

I have been obsessed with bright colours recently due to the weather being gorgeous (I've got my wellies ready... the rain has to come soon its England.) Mostly everything bright orange or neon yellow.
The pop of colour comes from the shoes, however i have teamed them with this blazer again from Sabo Skirt. My course at uni consists of creating fabric graphics and this is exactly something i would design myself!

A Touch of Tribal

Due to the heat this weekend (not complaining at all) i needed a casual cool outfit for me lazing around in the sun and catching up with some friends. I recently found a lovely pair of pumps with a pointed toe from BGBG MAXAZRIA so decided to work my outfit from them.

I am defiantly a trouser girl, in a rush the first thing i pick out the wardrobe is a skinny pair of cream pants or my levi's. Its just the way i am, i feel comfortable wearing skinny pants so i seem to gravitate towards them. Even in the heat i tend to wear shorts rather than dresses. However seeing as a have a tan i thought id wear my new aztec print casual dress from River Island.

I tried a few necklaces off but they take the attention away from the tribal detailing on the top, so stuck to a mix of bracelets and bangles. Also added a plaited thin brown belt to finish the look off.

BCBG MAXAZRIA

I also found this chain clip that slides in round your bun, which i found interesting as i haven't seen anything like it before, it would also look nice clipped round a simple ponytail.

Bright orange nails (see my very first blog post 'boots Haulin' for the colour) mixed with a range of different bracelets and bangles.

Summer Style - Outfit Of The Day

Hey Girlies,

So today was sunny for once!!! Never seems to be nice up north. I was going out for lunch with a friend so decided to take some photos of my outfit. I have recently come across a clothing company based in Australia called Sabo Skirt and i absolutely love it! Great bright prints with a surf beachy feel to there clothing. I bought a few items which will be coming up in future posts in the next week!! Today i have the triangle shirt on from Sabo Skirt which has a cut out back which i feel can be dressed up with a midi skirt for a night out, as well as dressed down like today with a pair of jeans.

I teamed the shirt up with a chunky large necklace from New Look, i am a massive fan of huge necklaces and this colour matches perfectly with many different tops and shirts.

Teamed with H&M blazer and Jeans

Cut Out Back
When i bought the shirt i didn't notice the cut out back, when it was delivered i liked it even more as i don't own anything like this.

Colourful beaded necklace

Leggings Jeans- Republic ( Now closed down )
Necklace- New Look
Bag and shoes from local vintage shop
Blazer- H&M

Boots Haulin'

Walking into Boots, knowing that i have double discount today (Im a boots employee!) Its extremely hard not to go crazy and buy the whole shop. However i kept my cool and tried to only buy a few essentials (makeup is essential right?)

Heres what i bought..

I also had money on my Boots Advantage Card so thought i'd spend those today since i was in a bigger Boots than the one i work in.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose

The new fragrance from Emporio Armani, a version of the original Diamonds but with a more floral scent. I feel it is a great summer fragrance and not too heavy. I got the 30ml bottle with my points which is great handbag size for women with a busy lifestyle.

According to the Boots website it has juicy tones of raspberry and blackcurrant, which gives it a sweet scent yet with Bulgarian rose and Lilly it has the floral notes.

Real Techniques Expert Face brush

I would highly recommend any brush from the Real Techniques collection! They are so soft on the skin and apply makeup to the skin perfectly, i would also say they are reasonably priced at around £9 a brush (this varies) as i would say they are just as good as the Sigma and Mac brushes.

I have heard great reviews on YouTube and other bloggers for the expert face brush, and since this was one of the only brushes i don't have from this range i thought id give it a go!

Rimmel London 60 seconds and Lasting Finish

Ive never owned any Rimmel nail varnishes before so lets hope they don't chip! picked up two colours as they were buy one get one half price.

Left Lasting Finish 200-Orange Your Life.
 Great bright coral for summer!
Right 60 seconds 210- Ethereal.
Pearly pink natural colour.

Revlon Lip Butter 027 Juicy Papaya

Revlon lip butters are one of my favourite brands for lipsticks, they glide on so smoothly and keep your lips moisturised. I have extremely dry lips and find that lipstick colour clogs throughout the day which doesn't look very attractive! However i love how the lip butters stay fresh on my lips for hours.

I tend to buy bright colours so thought i would go for a more nude coral colour this time!

Maybelline The Eraser Eye- Perfect and Cover Concealer
Shade- Nude

This is a anti age product from Maybelline. Obviously being 21 i don't have any wrinkles round the eyes, but picked up this product as it claims to conceal dark circles.

Botanics Facial Brush

I have been so tempted to go out and buy this for a while, the bristles are soft and i have sensitive skin that breaks out with any harsh scrubbing. I would say this is a cheaper option for the clarisonic.

Botanics mattifying Gel Cream- Shine Away

I have Oily Skin, that breaks out so easily!! So i thought i would try a gel cream as usually normal creams make my face a shiny mess. The texture of this seems odd at first but soaks into the skin instantly. I usually swear by the Michael Todd range for skincare products as they cleared up my acne prone skin great! However i ran out of my moisturiser (Moisture Lite) so needed a quick fix till i can order more off the Michael Todd website.

AND FINALLY!!!

Nivea In- Shower Body Moisturiser

This is perfect for people like me who are slightly lazy at moisturising after a shower, leaves skin feeling soft and silky!

Hope you enjoyed my little Boots haul, Thanks for reading
